The short answer is yes.

The longer answer is that it’s quite accurately estimated that about 20% of a home’s heat will escape through windows.

The savings you can make by fitting new double glazed windows will really depend on the type of glass and frames we install for you. But to cut a long story short installing A-Rated double glazed windows in your home can save the average house hold £325 per year on energy costs.

Multiplied out by 20 years that is around £6,500.

Put simple, yes!

The longer explanation is still quite simple. Windows have RW ratings and that stands for Sound Reduction Rating.

As long as the windows are 40+ rated you will alleviate any noise problems you are currently having. Make sure to bring this up on the phone when you call. As we install different types of windows and if we know you have a sound problem we will ensure the right RW rated windows are used.

Everything that essentially leads or ‘wear and tear’ is fought off by uPVC. Rotting, corrosion and discolouration for example.

This is the real advantage of having uPVC doors and windows. In the long run the upfront cost ends up being a smaller overall investment in comparison to cheap alternatives that need to be replaced.

We only install top rated windows and parts. All our UPVC installations are backed with a 10 year warranty.

Other product and their warranty time frames vary. Please bring this up in conversation when you call us to find specifics.

Well you may have noticed when you came to our site the name of our homepage is ‘Double Glazing Bournemouth‘ and there is a reason for that.

Most of the work we do is double glazing.

But it really depends on what your goal is. If you want the absolute best thermally insulated windows then triple glazed might be worth it in the long run. If you are calculating energy cost saving for commercial property over say 50+ years and want to make some ‘numbers’ look nice.

But generally we don’t recommend triple glazed windows as the cost is not really worth the investment.
